The hotside pipe from the factory on the LLY trucks is often known to fail. The factory routing that it takes rubs on the power steering line; this causes the line to create a hole in the tube resulting in a boost leak and loss of power. This has been a problem from day one, and HSP Diesel knows it can be a big one with no notice. This is why our Hot Side tube routes directly into the intercooler; this results in lower temperatures, better airflow, and added clearance in those tight places.
