On our HPS direct fit intercooler boots for the 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel Ford F-Series trucks, we added a fluoroelastomer liner to allow constant flow of oil without the negative consequences. We also replaced the 2 layers of polyester with 4 layers of Aramid fiber, raising the maximum operating temperature to 500F.
