NOTICE: If the vehicle currently has a message displayed stating ‘DPF Full 100%’ or anything along those lines, you will need to have the dealership (or shop with access to the factory scan tool/application) perform a DPF Replacement Procedure using the factory scan tool. The physical DPF does not need to be replaced at this time, but the vehicle will need to be trailered back from the dealership without starting it to ensure that message isn’t thrown again before pulling the ecm to send to us!”

The 3.0L Ecodiesel is a impressive little engine with a lot of grunt! We are excited to be able to offer tuning for these trucks that increase the overall drivability and add FUN into the mix.
The “stock” tune we offer can be used in conjunction with other tuner boxes and a modified exhaust system. This tune can also be used for someone just looking to modify the DEF and Exhaust system in general without any added power. We have killed off some codes and torque limits that some of the box tuning companies fight when adding power from their plug-in devices. We ae happy to be able to help out others in the industry!
The 20hp tune is just that…. A solid 20hp/25ft lbs torque gain that is great for towing. This tune is built with the towing customer in mind as EGTs are generally less than stock, power is more useable through the whole rpm range, and a few degrees increased timing to help out on the fuel economy side. We also include the option to add “TURBO BRAKING” into this tune. This allows the turbo to close the vanes at zero% throttle which increases back pressure on the engine giving the truck a “Jake brake” like stopping power. This is nice to have when towing through the mountains and will allow for less foot brake action and more turbo brake action saving on brake pads.
The 40hp tune is our fun street tune. Minimum smoke, manageable egts, and still able to tow a trailer. This tune has more low end fuel and boost resulting in a massive 85 ft lbs over stock torque levels. Enough grunt to burn off the tires from a dig yet still manageable with backing up to your trailer! We also include the option to add “TURBO BRAKING” into this tune. The 60 hp race tune… Need we say more? This tune has less smoke limits down low and runs the injectors to around 95% duty cycle. We added fuel and boost until the truck literally quit making power with this tune! We are running 28lbs of boost and it doesn’t not clean up all the smoke… Running 29 lbs actually LOST power and smoked heavier which left us knowing that this tune is the maximum amount of hp the stock ECO diesel has to offer. With 114ft lbs over stock and 4800rpm fuel cut, this has enough power to manage a nice rolling burnout or pull the sled with some nice wheel speed. We can also add turbo braking to this tune, but we DO NOT RECOMMEND towing on this setting.
****We recommend EGT gauges for anything over stock hp and it is the owners responsibility to manage those egts…. Turn down for what? Turn down for EGTs! Turn around time on PPEI Flash for Ecodiesel is 3 days once the ecu arrives to our facility. We will ship the unit back within 3 business days upon arrival to our facility. The ECU will be taken apart while in house and buyer accepts all responsibility for possible damages done to the casing of the ecu and also understands that any “Power adder” they install on the truck will void their warranty. We recommend a edge CTS to monitor engine conditions, codes, etc. with the purchase of our ECU flash as well.****
