Rudy's Performance Parts has been building Powerstrokes since 2008.  We have more experience with the 6R140 than most shops one the market.  We have developed the ideal transmission for every level of driver on the market.  There are hundreds of trucks out there from everyday drivers to all out race trucks with Rudy's built transmissions!  All stages of the 6R140 come with these fully rebuilt features:

Stage 1 - Towing/HD 550HP Rating | $5,169

Our stage 1 transmission is a standard fully rebuilt 6R140 transmission. This includes all of the parts listed above under 'features'. 


Stage 1+ - Towing/HD with E Clutch Damper 650HP Rating | $5,954

Our stage 1+ transmission is fully rebuilt, and includes a Suncoast E Clutch Damper assembly. This damper is HIGHLY recommended for 6R140 transmissions. Rated for 650HP. One of the key problems associated with the Ford 6R140 transmission is a noticeable substantial squawking noise which occurs during the oncoming 4th gear clutch during the 3-4 gear exchange. This noise becomes much more prominent when aftermarket friction materials are used inside the transmission for added holding capacity. The aftermarket clutches that are utilizing higher friction coefficients are an absolute must when increasing horsepower and torque or during heavy usage.

The SunCoast patented E-Clutch Damper is the solution to this problem. Using Sound Reduction Absorption Technology, the E-Clutch damper dissipates the unwanted squawk allowing for a clean, crisp, and silent gear exchange. This improved design damper will also aide in extending the life of the 4-5-6 clutch pack in the 6R140.


Stage 2 - Mild/HP Towing with Billet Intermediate Shaft 750HP Rating | $5,999

Our stage 2 transmission is like the stage 1, but also including a Billet Intermediate Shaft. This transmission is designed for up to 750hp applications for those looking for more reliability out of their transmission.  Ideal for mild upgrades and mild to heavy towing.


Stage 2+ - Mild/HP Towing with Billet Intermediate Shaft & Damper 850HP Rating | $6,694

Our stage 2+ transmission includes all of the above, as well as a Billet Intermediate Shaft and damper. This transmission is designed for up to 850hp applications for those looking for more reliability out of their transmission.  Ideal for mild upgrades and mild to heavy towing.


Stage 3 - Competition 1000HP Rating | $6,999

The end all of 6R140 transmissions. This competition transmission comes with even more clutch material than our other stages.  This transmission has been run in 1,000HP+ truck and is still running strong! Includes Billet Intermediate Shaft, and Billet Apply Pistons. We recommend the Stage 5 Revmax Quad Disc Converter or DPC Quad Disc Converter along with a billet flex plate with this transmission.

Note:

  • Our transmissions also have a 500 mile break in period.
  • Transmissions come with a 2 year limited warranty. Shafts are not covered under warranty.
  • Proof of new torque converter being installed at time of transmission install is required to retain warranty.  
  • 2011 model year trucks have an 8 bolt converter.  You must purchase the correct converter if you are not upgrading to a billet flexplate.
  • All stages of transmissions required valve body recalibration through IDS.  If calibration is not done before driving, damage to the transmission WILL OCCUR!
