This Allison Spin-On Filter is the correct OEM replacement for Allison 1000 and Allison 2000 transmissions. To keep your transmission healthy, Rudy's recommends replacing the spin-on filter every 12,000 miles. When changing this filter, ensure that you clean and reuse the filter magnet that is sandwiched between the filter and the transmission. Oftentimes, this magnet will stick to the filter and be discarded by mistake.
