Cool the intake charge and suppress detonation on your turbocharged or supercharged gas engine with the AEM V3 Water/Methanol Injection Kit. Water/methanol injection lowers inlet air temperatures and raises effective octane, letting a boosted engine safely run more boost and more aggressive ignition timing. The boost-dependent V3 controller reads manifold pressure through an onboard MAP sensor rated to 35 PSI of boost and progressively matches flow to the engine's demand across the power curve.
AEM Electronics backs the kit with robust hardware: a heavy-duty waterproof, internally-bypassed injection pump that runs quietly without cycling and is safe for engine bay or frame rail mounting, plus the V3 injector with swirl-generator technology, a self-cleaning umbrella check valve and three interchangeable nozzles. A low-profile 1.15 gallon tank with an anti-starvation reservoir and low-fluid indicator, a color-coded harness with a positive-lock connector, and 20 feet of nylon injection tubing round out the kit.
