The Aeromotive 11807 Fuel System offers a true solution to any 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke owner looking to upgrade the fuel system on their truck. Built to be more reliable, more efficient, and more advanced than other products on the market, the Aeromotive Fuel System addresses the common failure points and issues that have plagued the market for years.
Filtration:
The Aeromotive Fuel System separates air and debris to provide your engine with the cleanest fuel. This kit comes standard with one of the best filters on the market, the CATERPILLAR 1R-750. Because the pump was designed with a standard 1"-14 thread, it can fit a wide range of aftermarket filters so cross-referencing or changing filters is never an issue.
Shaft Seals & Pump Design:
Like all Aeromotive In-Line Pumps, the Aeromotive Diesel Fuel System features a flow-through design. This means that fuel actually flows across the motor, because of this, there's no shaft seal to fail which increases reliability and durability of the pump.
Extreme Climates:
Aeromotive understands that some need their trucks in harsh environments. For the extreme cold, the Aeromotive 11801 features (2) 8-AN ports to allow engine coolant to warm the pump body. In addition, the pump is a completely sealed unit allowing it to get wet or be submerged without skipping a beat.
Installation:
Aeromotive has worked hard to make this an easy swap for your existing fuel pump that uses 1/2" lines quick-connect fittings. Aeromotive includes a steel zinc-plated bracket, hoses, pickup tube and all the components needed to complete this installation on your Super Duty pickup.
Fuel Delivery:
Aeromotive has addressed the 1/4 tank issues associated with aftermarket draw straws by including their patented and proven foam baffle technology borrowed from their Phantom systems. This baffle keeps fuel at the pickup point of the 3/4" draw straw and houses the 100 micron pre-filter and return line. By doing this, there is no need to drill a hole in the bottom of the tank or modify the filler neck.
Fuel Pressure:
Unlike other diesel lift pumps, Aeromotive chose to use a spring and diaphragm design for precise pressure control. The design is more costly but provides more control over system pressures. The 11807 also comes standard with a pump mounted gauge so you can refine your pressure tuning without having to guess.
