aFe Power pairs a one-piece open-element XLPE housing that connects to the factory air intake tract in the fender well with a computer-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube with a resonance chamber and billet aluminum vacuum fittings. The Pro DRY S filter uses three-layer oil-free synthetic media that needs no oil to clean, and it is washable and reusable for the life of the vehicle. The kit installs using factory mounting locations.
