aFe Power pairs a durable 16-gauge powder-coated one-piece heat shield that requires little or no assembly with a heat-insulating molded plastic intake tube that replaces the stock intake tract. The Pro 5R filter uses five-layer progressively finer cotton gauze media, pre-oiled for maximum airflow, and it is washable and reusable for the life of the vehicle. The kit installs using factory mounting locations.
