aFe Power pairs a open-element orange XLPE housing that incorporates the factory hood inlet scoop and grille inlet with no added hardware with a computer-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube. The Black Pro 5R filter uses five-layer progressively finer cotton gauze media, pre-oiled for maximum airflow, and it is washable and reusable for the life of the vehicle. The kit installs using factory mounting locations.
