Do the LB7 head job once and do it right with the Alliant Power Head Installation Kit with ARP Studs. It covers 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 and 2003-2004 Chevy Kodiak / GMC TopKick C4500/C5500 with the 6.6L Duramax LB7, pairing the upper-engine sealing set with ARP head studs so the heads clamp harder than factory bolts allow.
The kit seals the oil, coolant, and combustion interfaces of the upper engine in one box, and the ARP studs deliver the consistent, repeatable clamp load a lifted or tuned Duramax needs to keep the head gaskets sealed. It replaces the GM 97729798 / Mahle HS54580 gasket set and Fel-Pro 02-10483-01 combination and is backed by Alliant Power technical support.
