Designed for coilover suspension systems, these are use high-quality X5K grade steel coils tailored to specific for Toyota 4Runner applications for optimal performance.
Bypass technology in BP-51 coilovers provides an additional fluid flow path around the piston, allowing the shock to adapt to different driving conditions. This design offers a smoother, more comfortable ride during normal driving, while increasing control on rough terrain by generating more damping at the ends of the stroke to absorb larger impacts and prevent harsh bottoming out.
With external on-vehicle rebound and compression adjustments, these bypass-style coilovers allow you to fine-tune ride comfort and control based on your vehicle’s load, terrain, or trip requirements. Damping increases near the end zones, providing enhanced control during full compression and extension while maintaining ride comfort at standard height. The 51mm bore shock absorber body is constructed from 6061-grade aluminum with a Type III hard anodized finish, ensuring excellent heat dissipation and corrosion resistance.

- A Strut Top Hat Kit may be required if the original equipment is worn. OMETH002 for quantity (2)
- Old Man Emu UCA0004 Upper control arms are recommended for 0 to 2-inch lifts. 2.5 to 3-inch lifts they are required to achieve factory alignment specs
- Passenger side BP5190002R is also required
