The BD-Power 2033137 Turbo Mount Exhaust Brake is an excellent way to slow down 1999-2002 Dodge Cummins 5.9L when towing immense loads. With over 30 years of exhaust brake experience, this exhaust brake system provides up to 150 retarding horsepower throughout the engine's entire RPM range to give you confidence when towing through the mountains.

 

The BD-Power Turbo Mount Exhaust Brake features a rugged cast-iron housing, stainless steel butterfly valve & rotating shaft, and BD's exclusive alumibronze bushing along with the Variable Orifice Technology have all proven themselves to handle the grueling high-heat conditions of the exhaust system. This exhaust brake includes everything needed for installation including an air compressor when required and comes a 2-year warranty for peace of mind.

  • Trucks with automatic transmissions are suggested to also install an BD-Power TorqLoc Torque Converter Control System 1030395 for electronic controlled lock-converters, or, a lower stall converter for manual or no lock-up converters.
