Sometimes the best design is the simplest. Now available in Black, the B&M Z-Gate shifter is a great example of that. It has the fewest moving parts of any automatic shifter in the B&M line and its patented internal "Z" shaped gate eliminates the possibility of over-shifting or missing gears. It has many of the same great features of higher priced shifters, and a PVD (physical vapor deposition) aka thin-film coating. It also includes a neutral safety switch, backup light switch, black T-Handle and fits most popular 3-speed and some 4-speed automatic transmission applications. The Reverse lockout meets NHRA and IHRA requirements.

  • Fits GM TH400, TH350, 250 and 200 automatic transmissions. Ford, Lincoln, Mercury C4, C5, C6 and AOD automatic transmissions. Also fits 1966 and later Chrysler Torqueflite A727 (36RH/37RH), A518 (46RH/46RE), A618 (47RH/47RE/48RE), A904 (30RH), A999 (32RH), A500 (40RH/42RH/40RE/42RE/44RE) transmissions.
