Developing systems for the C8 Corvette presented some unique challenges. This 3" inlet Cat-Back™ system includes both AFM ('20-'21)/ DFM ('22-'25) valves and NPP dual mode exhaust valves. The S-Type sound delivers a powerful, balanced sound with a deep tone and no drone. It features our Polyphonic Harmonizer and SwitchFire™ technology. BORLA®'S Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, BORLA®'S patented SwitchFire™ design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound.
Strategically placed heat shielding is included to prevent exhaust heat damage and protect your Corvette. It comes with 4" round black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips. Using BORLA® Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. Systems are also available with bright chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips, or carbon fiber tips. The system is constructed using T-304 stainless steel and is backed by our Million Mile Warranty. System ships in 2 boxes.
