The Diamond T Injection Drive Module (IDM) for Ford (1994-03) 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel – High Voltage & Output (IDMF73-HVO) is built for owners who want noticeably sharper performance from their 7.3 without sacrificing reliability. This upgraded IDM increases injector drive voltage from about 110 volts to roughly 140 volts, delivering a much stronger electrical “hit” to each injector for a cleaner, more consistent injection event
In addition to the voltage increase, the module also boosts current output by about 20%. That extra current helps the injector activate quicker, holds the poppet valve open more firmly, and keeps it on just a bit longer. The net effect is snappier acceleration, better throttle response, and a more lively-feeling truck, especially noticeable on tuned, towing, or otherwise modified 7.3L setups
Each High Voltage & Output IDM starts with a remanufactured housing, then receives upgraded internal components and calibration before being thoroughly tested under load. Installation is fully plug-and-play using the factory connectors—no custom wiring or PCM reflash is required.
