Every Adrenaline High Pressure Oil Pump includes a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty. Coverage applies to manufacturing defects and normal operation. Warranty coverage does not apply to pumps that have been tampered with, abused, or physically damaged.
All current Adrenaline pumps utilize the Steel Insert design. Due to the success and reliability of this configuration, OEM thread versions are no longer offered.
Built for 1996-2003 7.3L Power Stroke Trucks
The Adrenaline High Pressure Oil Pump is designed for 1996-2003 Ford 7.3L Power Stroke applications that require more oil volume than the factory HPOP can consistently provide. Whether you're replacing a worn-out stock pump, towing heavy loads, or supporting larger injectors and custom tuning, the Adrenaline is engineered to deliver the oil volume needed to maintain injector performance.
Because the 7.3L Power Stroke uses high-pressure oil to operate its injectors, adequate oil volume becomes increasingly important as injector size and power levels increase. The Adrenaline helps maintain stable Injection Control Pressure (ICP), improving injector operation and supporting increased horsepower potential.

- AA Code Single Shot (1994-1997 7.3L) - Stock to 200cc
- AB Code Split Shot (Early 1999 and California 1997) - Stock to 175cc
- AD Code Split Shot (1999.5-2003) - Stock to 175cc
- AC Code Single Shot (T444E and aftermarket applications) - Stock to 200cc
- AD Hybrid Injectors - Up to 285cc

Performance Benefits
The Adrenaline HPOP is designed to provide additional oil volume across the RPM range, helping maintain injector performance under load. While stock trucks can benefit from improved drivability and towing performance, trucks equipped with larger injectors generally experience the most significant gains.

The larger the injector, the greater the demand for high-pressure oil. Additional oil volume helps larger injectors operate more efficiently, making the Adrenaline an excellent choice for performance-oriented 7.3L builds.
P1211 Code & Weak HPOP Diagnosis
If your truck is experiencing a P1211 code or has been diagnosed with a weak HPOP, proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing components. Tuning issues, injector problems, leaks, and other system faults can sometimes create symptoms that resemble a failing high-pressure oil pump.
Many trucks experiencing ICP instability under load can benefit from additional oil volume, but identifying the root cause before replacing parts can save both time and money.
Core Return Information
A refundable core charge applies unless you choose to send your core in advance.
- Return your core within 45 days to receive a full core refund.
- Any 1994-2003 7.3L HPOP can be used as the required core.
- The core does not need to match your truck's model year.
- Core returns received after 45 days are eligible for a $125 credit rather than a full refund.
- If additional time is required, contact Rudy's before the 45-day deadline.
- You may avoid the core charge by sending your core before your order ships.
Additional core values:
- 1994-2003 7.3L HPOP cores - $125 each
- 2003-2004 6.0L HPOP cores - $125 each
- 2005-2007 6.0L cast iron HPOP cores - $85 each
Aftermarket high-pressure oil pumps are not accepted as cores. Damaged housings may receive reduced core credit.
Quality Control & Testing
Every Adrenaline pump is built to the same specifications and tested before shipment. Each unit must meet established flow standards before receiving final approval.
There is only one Adrenaline pump configuration for this application, ensuring consistent performance and reliability from one pump to the next.
Anti-Drainback Feature Information
- Engine serial numbers 201680 and below (1994-1995): Anti-drainback feature required
- Engine serial numbers 201681 and above (1996-2003): Anti-drainback feature not required
Additional Information
Installation instructions are included with purchase.
If your existing pump is leaking, be sure to inspect the associated seals, plugs, and O-rings before replacing the entire assembly, as some leaks can be repaired without replacing the pump.
