Enhance your vehicle's nighttime visibility with the C1R HitchMount Reverse Light Kit! This kit enables you to mount one C1R LED pod in your 2-inch trailer hitch receiver, adding a high-power reverse light, additional running light, and an optional 4th brake light with the C1R option. With the included wiring harness, this kit effortlessly connects to the factory trailer hitch wiring for simple, everyday operation. Factory reverse bulbs lack the necessary brightness for confident nighttime reversing. By pairing patented TIR optics with high-powered LEDs, the C1R included in this kit provides an additional reverse light that's several times brighter than stock bulbs alone. Plus, they automatically activate when the vehicle is put in reverse!
The C1R LED pod included with this kit features a distinctive red backlight that can function as an additional running light while driving, offering a more unique and modern look compared to standard indicator LEDs. Opt for the C1R option to enjoy its high-power red function, serving as a powerful 4th brake light alongside the low-power running light. This high-power red function activates anytime you apply your brakes, adding a 4th brake light to your F-150. The C1R also features optional brake light strobing. By default, the C1R will flash six times anytime the brake lights are applied for greater visibility. The SafetyStrobe feature can be easily disabled if desired.
Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses often lose light internally and to glare, resulting in inefficient illumination. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in these LED pods collects all of the light from the LED and directs it only where needed, minimizing glare and maximizing efficiency.
