The Diode Dynamics Stage Series Backlit Ditch Light Kit provides a secure mounting solution for adding auxiliary lighting to your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or 2019 Silverado 1500 LD. Designed specifically for these trucks, the included brackets position two SS3 or SSC2 LED Pods above the hood while utilizing factory mounting locations for a clean, bolt-on installation.
Installation requires no cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications. The low-profile bracket design minimizes glare and maintains full hood operation while providing an ideal mounting location for supplemental lighting. Built from thick-gauge stainless steel, the brackets offer excellent corrosion resistance and rigidity to help eliminate vibration during daily driving or off-road use.
Vehicle-Specific Design
Unlike universal mounting solutions, this kit was engineered specifically for the Silverado platform. The CAD-designed brackets integrate with factory mounting points and hardware, resulting in a secure installation that maintains a factory-like appearance.

Stage Series Lighting Options
The kit is available with SS3 or SSC2 LED Pods, both of which utilize Diode Dynamics' advanced optical design to maximize usable light output while maintaining controlled beam patterns.
- SS3 Pods: Focused 65° x 25° rectangular beam pattern designed for extended forward visibility.
- SSC2 Pods: Compact 40° x 20° driving pattern that delivers excellent light output in a smaller package.
- Combo Optic: Combines driving and flood optics to provide both distance illumination and wider peripheral coverage.
Optional snap-on covers are available separately to protect the lenses from dirt, debris, and road contaminants while allowing additional customization.
Color Options
Stage Series LED Pods are available in two output colors:
- Cool White (6000K): Crisp white light that closely matches most factory LED lighting systems.
- Selective Yellow (3000K): Improved contrast in rain, fog, dust, and other poor weather conditions.
Replacement lenses are also available, allowing you to change beam patterns or output colors without replacing the entire pod.

Important Notes
- For the 2019 model year, this kit is compatible only with Silverado 1500 LD models.
