The mid-size Colorado and Canyon carry a soft front spring rate that dives under braking and bottoms out on washboard. Eibach's PRO-TRUCK COILOVER 2.0 swaps in a pre-assembled front coilover with a threaded body, giving 1 to 3 inches of adjustable front lift and the damping control the factory strut never had — no leveling spacer needed, and none should be used with it.
The monotube layout matters most here. A 46mm piston working against nitrogen-filled variable force valving keeps oil and gas separated, so damping stays consistent on washboard instead of going soft after a mile. Anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts anchor it, the threaded spring perch absorbs added load and opens tire clearance, and the coilover is ERO Off-Road Race Spring equipped and compatible. Individually dyno tested, cycle-tested bushings, built by Eibach in the U.S.A.
