The 3.0L Duramax Silverado and Sierra carry extra nose weight over the gas trucks, and that weight cooks a standard rear damper on a long dirt road. Eibach's PRO-TRUCK-LIFT STAGE 2R answers with threaded height-adjustable front coilovers plus external reservoir rear shocks, giving up to 2.9 inches of front lift and 1.5 inches at the rear.
The reservoirs carry the extra oil volume that keeps a diesel's rear end damped on a long washboard road, moving heat out of the shock body rather than letting it cook the fluid. Front coilovers run a 46mm piston monotube with nitrogen-filled variable force valving in anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts. Every damper is individually dyno tested for matched performance, the heavy duty bushing system is cycle tested, and Eibach engineers and manufactures the system in the U.S.A. Trailboss and AT4 trims need roughly 7mm of added preload to reach OE height.
