Fluidampr Performance Diesel Series Damper For 1989-1998 5.9L & 3.9L Cummins
The Fluidampr Performance Diesel Series Damper 960311 will smooth out the harsh engine harmonics while extending the life of the engine in your 1989-1998 Dodge 12 Valve 5.9L Cummins or 3.9L Cummins 4BT. This viscous performance damper reduces torsional vibrations that helps take the chatter out of the engine while dyno results show a modest gain of 5.4 HP and 3.1 TQ. Unlike other aftermarket dampers that need to be tuned for an RPM band and unlike your stock rubber-based damper, this Fluidampr reduces torsional vibrations across the entire RPM without the need of being rebuilt or retuned. This damper is computer balance and precision machined and includes a sensor relocation kit for 12 valve engines using an alternator/tachometer pick up.
