Keep the 48RE or 68RFE in your 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 5.9L/6.7L Cummins cool under max towing, daily hauling, or serious power with the Fluidyne Extreme Duty Bar Plate Transmission Cooler. It carries 4X the fluid capacity of stock, a bar plate core that out-cools tube-and-fin and stacked plate designs, and a dual-pass flow path that runs transmission fluid through the core twice before it returns to the system.
The exterior is treated with a proprietary heat-wicking powder coating, the core is aerospace-grade aluminum, and the whole unit is TIG welded inside and out for maximum durability and leak resistance. The cooler measures 31.93 in long, 13.43 in tall, and 2.16 in deep with -8AN O-ring inlet and outlet ports. A Fluidyne bar plate line kit is required, sold separately: TLK.68.0709.BP for 68RFE trucks or TLK.48.0307BP for 48RE trucks.
