It carries 4X the fluid capacity of stock, a bar plate core that out-cools tube-and-fin and stacked plate designs, and a dual-pass flow path that runs transmission fluid through the core twice before it returns to the system.
This kit pairs the RT-48-0309BP cooler with its required Fluidyne line kit, TLK.68.0709.BP, so everything needed for the install arrives together. Wrapped in a high-temp silicone jacket and finished in stealth black, these -8AN steel braided lines are as tough as they are clean. Upgrading to a real transmission cooler means not choking it with the factory -6AN lines, and this kit is built to move serious fluid without restriction. Designed to pair perfectly with the Fluidyne 3rd Gen Extreme Duty Bar Plate Transmission Cooler, it is a no-nonsense fit for 68RFE-equipped trucks that get used.
