This kit bypasses the factory heat exchanger, an aging weak link known to fail and cross-contaminate coolant with ATF.
Wrapped in a high-temp silicone jacket and finished in stealth black, these -8AN steel braided lines are as tough as they are clean. Upgrading to a real transmission cooler means not choking it with the factory -6AN lines, and this kit is built to move serious fluid without restriction. Designed specifically to pair with the Fluidyne 3rd Gen Upgraded Stacked Plate Transmission Cooler, it is the final piece of the puzzle for 48RE-equipped trucks that actually get used. Not for use with the Extreme Duty bar plate cooler.
