The Fluidyne stacked plate cooler offers three times the core area and three times the fluid capacity of a traditional tube-and-fin cooler for superior heat dissipation and stable temperatures under heavy loads.
This kit pairs the RT-48-0309 cooler with its required Fluidyne line kit, TLK.68.0709, so everything needed for the install arrives together. Wrapped in a high-temp silicone jacket and finished in stealth black, these -8AN steel braided lines are as tough as they are clean. Upgrading to a real transmission cooler means not choking it with the factory -6AN lines, and this kit is built to move serious fluid without restriction. It is a no-nonsense fit for 68RFE-equipped trucks that get used.
