This is a great addition when using the high flow outlet or a “gutted” stock outlet. This direct bolt-in replacement for the factory pedestal will eliminate leaks from the EBV actuator assembly and works with the factory turbo, Garrett TP38r ball bearing turbo, and Turbonetics ball bearing “drop in” turbos. Are you looking to improve upon the reliability of your 7.3L without breaking the bank? The first step should be to eliminate the factory EBV as they are known to freeze in the closed position, making your truck undrivable until the problem is corrected. This pedestal eliminates the factory actuator rod assembly and prevents leaks from it.
