To start, we used a full metal assembly. A large heatshield that takes allows for the use of the ram air hood scoop that comes factory on these trucks. HSP Diesel also uses a metal mandrel-bent intake tube that uses smooth bends to create a radius that reduces the turbulence and increases the flow into the engine. This means more air that flows faster through the intake and gives the engine and turbocharger the air it demands.
