Rebuild the Garrett GTP38R turbo on your 1999.5-2003 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 or F-550 7.3L Powerstroke with the KC Turbos 38R Replacement CHRA. Until now there has been no effective way to rebuild a ball bearing GTP38R at home, and this drop-in center section changes that. It lets the 7.3L Powerstroke owner rebuild the 38R and upgrade its performance output at the same time.
KC Turbos is a family owned and operated company in Apache Junction, Arizona, well known for its premium performance turbo upgrades for Ford Powerstrokes. This center section converts the Garrett GTP38R to an easily rebuildable journal bearing design, with an upgraded 300x turbine wheel and a KC billet compressor wheel for quicker spool up, more boost, and increased horsepower and torque on the 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke.
