This upgraded version features a premium polished aluminum compressor housing, giving your engine bay a clean, mirror-like, show-quality appearance that stands out compared to raw-cast or coated turbos. Built as a 100% drop-in upgrade for Early 1999 (E99) trucks, the turbo includes a fully re-engineered compressor and turbine system based on modern aero technology, along with an advanced 4-inch ported anti-surge compressor housing. The redesigned 0.91 A/R turbine housing delivers faster spool and superior top-end airflow, outperforming previous KC300x generations.
KC Turbo upgraded every internal component, including a 7x7 SXE-style billet compressor wheel with extended-tip technology, a thick-shaft SXE turbine wheel, 200% larger thrust and journal bearings, a cast-integrated high-rigidity backing plate, and a steel thrust insert to prevent fatigue at elevated boost. After years of R&D, this polished Stage 3 unit offers exceptional reliability and power potential, ideally matched to aggressive injector sets from 238/80 to 250/100.
