The Gen 3 KC300x features a .91 AR turbine housing and a 0.70 AR compressor cover, replacing the previous 1.0 AR design. This new setup, with an improved map groove, anti-surge ring, and volute shape, spools faster and offers more top-end power. The turbo includes 200% larger thrust bearings and upgraded journal bearings, with a steel thrust insert replacing the aluminum backing plate for better stability and reduced distortion under high pressure, ensuring consistent performance. This drop-in turbo is perfect for boosting your 7.3 Powerstroke’s power and reliability.
