Description

The KC Jetfire Stage 2 works great on stock injectors, but to fully take advantage of all the extra air flow you can run up to 175/30 or 190/30 injectors. This is a great turbo for anyone looking to push the limits of their truck built for more top end power while keeping the ability to tow max weight, which it does with ease as long as you watch your temps and keep the RPMs up. It also has a very loud whistle.

Gen 2 brings a redesigned 64mm single plane point milled billet compressor wheel with extended tip technology and a redesigned 66mm 9 or 10 blade quick spool turbine wheel, running inside an upgraded .70AR race compressor cover with a drilled hole surge ring for maximum air flow. New high flowing vanes, an upgraded 360 thrust bearing, and a new VGT solenoid round it out. It is 100% drop in ready with no modifications required, brand new with no core required, and comes with an install kit. Expect 515 to 615 HP with supporting mods.

Notes:

  • Powder coating can take up to 3 weeks before it ships
  • Polished covers require a 1-2 week lead time
  • KC Turbos recommends 50 state legal Edge or SCT tuning to go with your turbo
  • Stage 2 turbos are built from 2003 cores - these come with the better turbine wheel and better vanes and will bolt on ANY YEAR, though some years use 2 mounting bolts instead of 3
  • Exhaust brakes: these retain the OEM feature if the vehicle calibration allows and is set up for it. Some brands have clearance issues and may hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. KC Turbos does not recommend flapper-style brakes
