Description

Upgrade your Early 1999 Ford F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 7.3L Powerstroke (E99) with the KC Turbos Upgraded Exhaust Manifolds. The factory 7.3L manifolds tend to deteriorate and crack over time, which leads to uneven clamping, broken studs, blown gaskets and power lost to exhaust leaks. KC's redesigned manifolds use thicker mounting flanges for an even seal against the cylinder head and port-matched runners that flow over 20% more than stock, reducing back pressure and improving turbo efficiency. This kit pairs the manifolds with the Odawgs Diesel Bellowed Up Pipes for the Early 1999 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke, so the up-pipe joints are sealed at the same time.

KC Turbos casts these manifolds from high-silicon molybdenum iron, which holds up to thermal warping and cracking far better than conventional cast iron. The up-pipe mounting face is re-engineered for better alignment and clamping under load, and the larger, fully machined sealing surface spreads heat evenly to minimize hot spots. Each pair carries an integrated EGT probe port and retains the factory EBP tube port, both with NPT plugs preinstalled, plus 16 OEM-style interference thread flange bolts that hold torque and resist backing out. The Odawgs bellowed up-pipes are made from aircraft-grade 321 stainless steel and eliminate the factory donut gasket for a tighter seal, with a bellowed design that handles heat cycles from daily driving to drag racing.

Installation reuses the factory exhaust manifold to up-pipe bolts, which are not included. A thread chaser is recommended to clean the cylinder head bolt holes before install so the new hardware reaches proper torque. The OEM-style interference thread bolts may feel like they are cross-threading as they go in; this is normal, since that interference with the head threads is what keeps them from backing out.
