This kit is hands down the strongest option for any GM Heavy Duty Truck. Fully capable of handling high horsepower boosted launches, while also maintaining comfortable street drivability. Each piece of this system is part of the Kryptonite Death Grip parts group, the absolute strongest parts available.

The idler pivot assembly tends to wear out, bend, and even break under stress with as little as 35” tires. The idler pivot assembly is what the idler arm is mounted to, and pivots on. This Extreme Duty Idler Pivot assembly has tapered roller bearings, adding strength and durability, thus creating a solid pivot point for your steering components. This kit is highly recommended. Play in the idler pivot can cause major tie rod issues. If the idler pivot assembly has an issue, the idler arm is able to move uncontrollably. As this happens you will have drastic tie rod angle changes. In certain instances a bent or failed part can cause complete disaster to your front end. Some damages may include: idler arm rubbing the transmission oil cooler lines or motor mount, pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rod breakage. Most tie rod problems stem from worn or damaged pitman and idler arms or idler pivot assembly.

Kryptonite Death Grip tie rods will fit any 2002-2009 Hummer H2 that has the center link mounted in the factory location, and can be upgraded in the future to accept the Kryptonite Center link.

This insanely strong center link has been engineered to maintain all factory alignment specs and steering geometry. This steering system is modeled after the Center Link on the H1 Military Hummer, this is a much stronger design when compared to what's offered from factory on all non Hummer GM HD Trucks. Can be used with GM or aftermarket Idler / Pitman arms.

  • If installing Kryptonite SS Series centerlink on a leveled or lifted truck you may need to install longer sway bar end links
  • This Kit will not function properly with older style "Drop Centerlink" Lift kits. Or "Drop Control Arm" Lifts kits. For example; older Pro Comp and early 2000's Fabtech Kits.
  • Kryptonite No Fine Print Lifetime warranty-Kryptonite steering and suspension components are warrantied for life to their original purchaser. This warranty is against any manufacturer defects, premature wear or breakage. Race it, jump it, off road it, wreck it, lift it, I think you get it? We don't care. If you can break it we will replace it.
