APR's Full Catch Can System for 2015-2024 Audi and VW MQB 1.8T/2.0T engines is a comprehensive, motorsport-inspired overhaul of the factory Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) system on the EA888 Gen 3 platform. Unlike basic add-on cans, this system completely replaces the factory PCV assembly with a precision-engineered billet aluminum top plate featuring integrated T304 stainless steel oil separation and an automatic drain-back system - directly addressing the factory unit's tendency to fail under sustained boost and allow oil vapors to contaminate the intake tract.
The internally baffled catch can prevents oil starvation during high-G cornering - a critical feature for track use - while trapping the oil vapors and gunk that lower effective octane, cause carbon buildup on intake valves, and reduce intercooler efficiency. Braided AN hose lines replace the factory rubber PCV lines for durability, and the catch can drains in seconds with a quick-turn knob. Recommended at all stages of performance for any 1.8T or 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 MQB Audi or VW.
