The 4.0-inch rear axle refers to the diameter of the axle tube, a configuration common on F-350 DRW (dually) and certain heavy-duty trim levels. This ensures perfect fitment of the supplied shock mounts and brackets. The kit includes 2.0-inch ICON Piggyback Shocks to enhance damping response, improve ride comfort, and provide stable performance under load or during towing.
