Concept SMD Sidemarker lights are complete sidemarker replacements, for the C6 Chevy Corvette, fitted with high powered 2835 Bridgelux LEDs that produce a laser-like appearance. Installation is easy! Just pop out the factory sidemarkers and connect the new ORACLE Concept Sidemarkers right into the stock plugs.

The lenses on the sidemarkers need to be raised higher than the OEM units in order to compensate for the inner components (I.e; circuitboards, LEDs, etc). This is for reasons mostly to do with heat, as excess heat decreases the lifespan of an LED dramatically, and the only way to decrease that possibility in an enclosed unit is airspace.
