The 6.7L Power Stroke oil-to-water transmission cooler is fed through a solenoid valve that cuts off coolant flow to the cooler from the moment the ignition is on until transmission fluid reaches roughly 210 degrees F, and even fully open its narrow passage limits how well the cooler works. The PPE Full-Flow Transmission Coolant Valve for the 2020-2026 Ford Super Duty 10R140 removes that factory restriction and allows uninterrupted coolant flow into the transmission cooler at all times.
The result is lower transmission temperatures while towing, hauling, off-roading, or highway cruising in your F-250, F-350, or F-450. PPE machines the valve body from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance, and it installs in place of the factory solenoid valve assembly on both gas and diesel Super Duty trucks running the 10R100/10R140 transmission.
