The factory thermostat cover on the 6.7L Power Stroke is plastic and cracks over time, taking coolant with it. PPE casts its replacement from high-grade 304 stainless steel in a raw finish, delivering superior strength, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance for long-lasting reliability at a known failure point.
Each cover is precision cast using permanent steel molds, giving it a smooth, consistent surface and high dimensional accuracy so it seats correctly the first time. It is a direct bolt-on that works with the factory thermostat housing, upper radiator hose, and mounting hardware, and PPE includes an EPDM thermostat gasket and upper radiator hose O-ring for a secure, leak-free installation.
