Keep your GM 8-speed automatic transmission cool and protected with the PPE Heavy-Duty Deep Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan. Designed for 8L45, 8L80, and 8L90 applications, this pan increases fluid capacity by 3.9 quarts to improve thermal stability and pressure consistency—key factors in reducing wear, delayed shifting, and vibration. Constructed from high-strength A356.0-T6 heat-treated cast aluminum, this pan offers enhanced rigidity, better heat dissipation, and superior durability under extreme conditions.

The pan features deep internal baffles to reduce fluid slosh, tall external fins for optimal cooling, and built-in gussets for structural reinforcement. A stainless-steel drain plug and check plug with high-temp neodymium magnets help trap harmful particles before they circulate. It’s also equipped with filter supports, a standpipe for precise filling, and a threaded 1/8” NPT port for temperature sensors or other accessories. This upgrade is compatible with OEM filters and gaskets, making installation seamless.
