This is the PPE steel shim used with the XR Stage 3 inner tie rods, part numbers 158032503 and 158032513, on 2001-2026 GM Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500 trucks. It is a service replacement for the shim supplied in the tie rod kit.
Order it to replace a lost or worn shim during a tie rod service or rebuild so the inner joint is spaced exactly as PPE designed it.
