If your Duramax is making extreme horsepower, it needs the PPE Xtreme Damper. A direct replacement for the OEM unit on 2001-2005 and 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY/LML engines, it is built for high-performance and modified trucks to protect the crankshaft and accessory drive from harmful engine harmonics, providing balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibration at any RPM.
The innovative 16.1 lb three-piece design - hub, outer ring, and counterweights - press-fits onto the snout of the crankshaft, and crankshaft installation increases dampening efficiency. Laser-etched timing degree marks stay readable, and the damper exceeds SFI 18.1 specifications with NHRA, IHRA, and NASCAR approval.
