It is handcrafted from 100% genuine dry/prepreg carbon fiber under a sleek clear coat — supercar-grade material and craftsmanship — and it drops significant weight compared to the factory air box lid.
Underneath the finish is a real performance part. PPE built the cover to hold an accurate air-fuel ratio and optimal efficiency at every RPM, rather than trading away maximum airflow for low-end response the way competitor designs do. The built-in velocity stack feeds the engine smooth, uninterrupted air for fast throttle response, and because all stock mounting positions are retained, it bolts on with OEM-like fitment.
