Shocks hidden under the frame make common adjustments difficult on the Softail ® chassis. Not anymore! RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) combines high performance shocks with a remote preload adjuster. Conveniently located behind the left passenger peg, the RAP system allows for easy tuning of the shocks to account for changing loads or the addition of a passenger.
Features:
- Ride height and spring preload are fully adjustable
- Tune the bikes suspension to fit your riding style
- Superior suspension performance is provided by the progressive-rate coil springs and purpose-designed monotube dampers
- A nitrogen charge in the dampers eliminates internal oil cavitation and creates a consistent ride and resists heat-induced fading
- Adjust the shocks up to 2 in. lower than stock shocks; also feature a show chrome cover
- The all new RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) system allows for easy turning of the shocks to account for changing loads or the addition of a passenger and is conveniently located behind the left passenger peg
