The worm track surface is micro polished to eliminate any visible or perceptible machining marks or stepovers, which could cause leaking. The filter cutout has a large radius machining that increases rigidity while still allowing the use of a stock filter assembly. Angle milled step downs increase rigidity in areas that are prone to flexing. The channel plate can handle up to 325psi of line pressure without warping, but transmission tuning, TCM upgrade, or pressure box is needed. No pump modifications are required for up to 250psi.
