Unlike aftermarket eccentric pumps that only create two injection events per revolution, the CPX pump retains the OEM Bosch timing strategy with four precise pulses per revolution. With its integrated disaster-prevention return circuit, this pump eliminates the need for external disaster-prevention kits. Installation is truly drop-in with no additional fuel lines or modifications required. All 2020–2025 RCD CPX CP4 pumps undergo internal 5-axis CNC machining to route return fuel back to the tank, keeping debris away from injectors in the event of a failure. Disaster kits are not required.
