Your factory Cummins cooling system does not include a dedicated coolant filter. That means contaminants such as casting sand, rust, scale, metal particles, and sediment can continue circulating through the engine as the coolant flows.
Over time, this debris can accumulate inside the heater core, EGR cooler, oil cooler, radiator, and other small coolant passages. Abrasive particles can also contribute to premature wear on water pump components and cooling system seals.
Our bypass coolant filtration system addresses this problem by continuously routing a small amount of coolant through a dedicated WIX spin-on filter while the engine is running. As coolant circulates through the bypass circuit, contaminants are captured and removed from circulation, gradually helping clean the cooling system.
Because the filter operates independently of the primary coolant flow path, it does not place a restrictive filter directly in the engine's main cooling circuit.

The system features a CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum filter block finished in signature Sinister Blue, a vehicle-specific mounting bracket that uses existing factory mounting locations, and reinforced silicone hoses with pre-assembled connections.
