The SPE Motorsport 6.7L Powerstroke Billet Oil Pump Gear Set is a built-engine upgrade for 800HP+ 6.7L Powerstroke applications where the factory oil pump gear is known to stretch and fail under sustained high-RPM, high-load conditions. Snyder Performance Engineering tested this gear set extensively in their own UCC truck and in their drag racing program, where after running a factory gear for a single season, measurement revealed the inner gear had stretched approximately 0.020" out of round — a condition that ultimately leads to failure and engine damage.
Precision-machined from 4140 hardened steel, this gear set includes both the inner and outer gear as a precision-matched pair, ensuring the tightest possible tolerances and reliable operation under the most abusive conditions — sled pulling, drag racing, dyno work, and any sustained high-output use. The outer gear in factory applications typically survives, but SPE includes both so you get perfectly matched tolerances from install. If you're pushing the 6.7L to the limit, this gear set eliminates a known weak point before it becomes a crankshaft-destroying failure.
