The SPE Motorsport Heater Inlet Tube Fitting Kit fixes the chronically problematic OEM heater inlet tube on 2011-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke trucks — a thin-wall steel line running from the coolant/thermostat crossover manifold to the heater hose that is notorious for corrosion and coolant weeping at the junction with the crossover manifold. The problem stems from two flaws: the metal properties make the tube prone to corrosion, and the OEM O-ring is poorly fitted to the tube design. Any time there's EGR, turbo, or engine work that disturbs the tube, the leak gets worse.
Snyder Performance Engineering replaces that whole failure-prone assembly with a CNC-machined billet aluminum fitting, a silicone hose, a properly sized O-ring, hose clamps, and all installation hardware. The result is a clean, leak-free interface that converts to a 3/4-inch hose outlet — ideal for anyone doing engine work, cleaning up the valley on a modified truck, or simply fixing the leak once and for all.
