Description

The SPE Motorsport XD Cold Side Pipe is the most extreme fix on the market for the problematic OEM plastic intercooler pipe on 2011-2016 Powerstroke trucks and the rubber hose on 2017-2025 Powerstrokes — both of which are known to explode or burst under high boost and increased heat. SPE has known about this failure mode for years and now offers multiple solutions, with the XD representing the final-boss option for trucks worked extremely hard at max capacity.

This is an industry first for the 6.7 Powerstroke — a full-length hard pipe with no 90-degree boot connection to the intercooler. While designed as a factory replacement, the XD eliminates the typical downfalls of competing cold side pipes by using all straight hose connections with no silicone couplers in bends (which collapse and restrict flow). SPE implements a cast "cobra head" at the intercooler outlet to retain maximum flow and volume — only possible with a cast design — while keeping factory location and clearances. If you want the strongest cold side solution available, this is it.
